Our mission focus has created grass-root campaigns at the community, national and global level. Here is what we are currently involved with. Join us and help make it happen.
THE FIGHT FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL FUNDING - STOP HB610
The Trump Administration under the hand of Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos has ventured a bill that would defund important programs from inner city schools that do not meet a certain benchmark. We oppose this, and have focused in on the relationship that inner city children make with Holocaust survivors when they tour Holocaust museums and memorials. The fight against anti-Semitism counts on the relationships that are developed at a young age that foster tolerance and understanding for all oppressed cultures. Sign our petition please. We will take your signatures to Congress and work to make sure that funding remains for these valuable field trips for all children, regardless of where they go to school.
RECOGNIZE CHIUNE SHUGIHARA FOR SAVING COUNTLESS JEWS
Chiune "Sempo" Sugihara was a Japanese diplomat who served as Vice-Consul for the Empire of Japan in Lithuania. During the events preceding World War II, Sempo went against his government and started handing out visas for endangered Jewish people. This amazing Japanese man is responsible for the lives of literally thousands. Legend has it that when he was arrested, he threw out visas to the Jewish children that ran along his train. We are endeavoring to create an awareness event that builds a bridge of tolerance and understanding between the Asian and Jewish communities in celebration of Sempo's service to mankind.
United Nations EVENT FOR INTER-CULTURAL TOLERANCE
There is a paralysis of cultural identity in our world. The United Nations has for decades either healed cultural oppression, or at times, facilitated it. As a hub for global congress, we need to demonstrate that the only way to survive on this planet is to collaborate and cooperate. We envision an event that results in teaching guides that inspire artistic expression of tolerance and understanding in young people. The United Nations has always been a great host for non-profits like ours to stage awareness events and exhibits.
